Attendance Update

Attendance continues to rise at The Academy.

Last weeks highlights;

Year 7 – 96%
Year 8 – 95%

A great achievement for both year groups.

3 tutor groups had 100% attendance, 7.1, 8.3 and LSR10.
17 form groups were above 95%.
3 weeks to go can we keep going up…..

Fact of the week – The government state that 90% attendance and under is classed as a persistent absentee.

Please remember that if we have had no contact from you for 2 days and your child is not in school we will make a home visit.
