GCSE Results Day Update – Thursday 20th August

School News 17th Aug 2020

As you will be aware from our previous correspondence this year due to Covid19 and social distancing measures results day will be slightly different.

You will have received a specific time to arrive at school (unless you have already informed us you are unable to attend), unfortunately accompanying parents will be asked to wait on the top field area and not enter the results pick up stations located under the canopies near the canteen.

You must keep to the time you have been allocated and adhere to social distancing measures whilst on the site only entering via the long path that passes near the bike sheds – staff will direct you to your appropriate pick up point. Even though we will be utilising the canopies please prepare for potentially wet weather and make sure you bring an appropriate waterproof bag to place your results in.

Both myself and Miss Carton will be available to discuss your results with you if you have any concerns and additional support has been made available at Marshall’s Yard, Mrs Philips and Ms Fox, careers advisors from the DWP will also be there to provide careers advice and guidance.

You will leave school via the gates into the staff car park.

All of these measures have been put in place to ensure your safety.

We are looking forward to seeing you and celebrating your hard work during your time at Gainsborough.
