Rupert Mason Performs English Texts

This week our Year 9 and Year 10 students had the privilege of watching the talented Rupert Mason perform English texts they have recently studied.

Y10 saw the re-enactment of their GCSE Literature text: Robert Stevenson’s Jekyll & Hyde. The performance used the author’s own words and alternated between Utterson’s narrative and Jekyll’s ‘Statement of the Case.’

Y9 watched the performances of two gothic tales ‘The Red Room’ and ‘Tell Tale Heart.’  Students said the performance ‘helped them realise how well they know the text’ and was ‘thoroughly enjoyable.’

Hope you all enjoyed it!
