Last week, a selection of Y7, Y8 and Y9 students took part in a Careers/STEM day with the Royal Navy, where students learnt about life in the Royal Navy, roles and opportunities, and took part in a STEM Challenge.
Our STEM activity was to build a distress flare and fire it to a great height. Students worked in problem solving teams and enjoyed shooting their flares higher than our building!
We care passionately about Careers, aspirations and students life chances at TGA; the day certainly gave our students a lot to think about.
