On Thursday, we held our Year 11 Leavers’ Assembly and celebrated the many achievements of the year group over the past five years. Mr Shaw shared a heart-warming collection of photographs, showcasing memories from Year 9 through to the present day, before presenting each student with their very own Leavers’ Licence.
We also took the opportunity to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of the Year 11 tutor team, with a special mention to our Non-Teaching Assistant Head of Year, Mrs Hoggarth. In recognition of her unwavering support for the students, she was presented with a unique Leavers’ Licence!
On behalf of everyone at The Gainsborough Academy and Wickersley Partnership Trust, we would like to say a fond farewell and wish all of our Year 11 students the very best of luck for the future. We look forward to celebrating with you one final time at the prom on Tuesday.
