On Friday 27th June, we had the pleasure of taking the Y9 Child Development/Health and Social Care students to Hillcrest Early Years Academy. This term, students have been developing their knowledge around the Early Years Foundation Stage. Over the past couple of weeks, they have been creating activities around the theme of Summer, which they went on to deliver and lead to two reception classes at Hillcrest Academy.
Having only been at The Gainsborough Academy since the start of this half term, this was a great opportunity to get to know how incredible this group of students are. They led their activities with confidence and really did TGA proud. The reception students were so receptive to our young leaders, and we have been welcomed back any time.
