During the final week of term, the talented music teachers from across Wickersley Partnership Trust joined forces to form a staff band and deliver a series of live performances to schools across the Trust. This exciting initiative was a fantastic way to celebrate the end of the academic year while showcasing the passion and skill that exists within the WPT music department.
On Tuesday, the band visited TGA and performed for our Year 7 students, treating them to a wonderful set of well-known songs. The performance aimed to show students how music can bring people together and create a vibrant school culture.
It was wonderful to see the students so engaged – clapping along, singing, and being inspired by the talent and enthusiasm of their teachers. The visit also highlighted the strong sense of community across WPT and reinforced the Trust’s commitment to enriching students’ educational experiences through creativity and the arts.
