Year 7 Science lessons quite literally burst into life this week as students explored the fascinating world of the human body – uncovering the secrets of muscles, joints, and tendons.
Our budding scientists became real-life anatomists, investigating how our bodies move through a mix of hands-on experiments, model demonstrations, and a jaw-dropping dissection. With gloves on, scalpels in hand, and plenty of curiosity, students carefully examined the intricate structures that make movement possible – from flexible joints to powerful muscle fibres.
There was a real buzz of excitement in the classroom as students made connections between what they’ve learned in theory and what they could see right in front of them. Their enthusiasm and scientific curiosity were fantastic to see!
Well done, Year 7!
