This weekend, TGA student Cody, is travelling to Belguim to compete at the Keumgang Open Kyorugi. Cody competes on Saturday 18th January, and the event may even be streamed on YouTube.
This is an extremely well known, established European event, that all the best clubs in world participate in.
Last year, Cody had some amazing successes domestically, and also internationally:
⭐ Germany – Gold
⭐ Belgium – QF
⭐ Holland – Bronze
Cody’s Bronze medal at the Dutch Open in October is his best achievement as of yet, the event was an Olympic G1 standard event! Cody has trained so hard and is ready to kick start the year, he has now moved up to juniors from cadets, and this is a challenge he’s willing to accept.
Last October, Scorpion Taekwondo came 4th in the whole country out of 90 clubs at the British National Taekwondo Championships, which was incredible considering they only took 31 athletes.
