TGA student, Cody, competed at the Keumgang Open in Lommel/Belgium at the weekend, and he didn’t disappoint. Firstly, he came up against Belgium, last year Cody fell just short against the same player, but this time around, he came out on top!
Round 1: 8-7
Round 2: 7-5
This was a very close technical match, but the right tactics were played by Cody, scoring very good head shots and punches. After this it was his Quarter Final, up against one of his biggest rivals from England, and what a match it was!
Round 1: 1 -6
Round 2: 5-7
The second round was amazing from both players, Cody was 5-0 up within seconds! The opposing player came back to win 5-7, this is the closest Cody has got to his rival, as he has had to move up in weight categories.
Well done Cody, you should be extremely proud of your performances!
