On Wednesday PC Gayle Newton joined Mrs Skelton and students for lunch at The Gainsborough Academy and took the opportunity to chat with students about behaviour in school and the wider community. Gayle will be working with the school over the next few weeks to support the academy and its students with bullying, discrimination, and physical altercations.
Gayle will be offering support through proactive mentoring and support as well as through following up on incidents reported to the police.
Last week, Thomas and Michael, two of our fantastic students, took part in the Merchant Navy Flag Raising Ceremony at Marshalls Yard as part of
WPT has a Zero Tolerance Policy. We expect all of our staff, Governors, Directors and volunteers to be treated with respect. Click for more details.

Thursday 26th September 4.30 – 6.30pm – Year 5/6 Open Evening
We look forward to opening our doors to some of our potentially future students. This evening will give them an opportunity to take a tour around the school and have a look into the sort of topics they will be covering in the subjects.
