BAE Systems Visit TGA

On Thursday 25th January, we had some very special visitors at TGA! STEM Ambassadors Sophie, Fran and Rob from BAE Systems, Royal Air Force and Royal Navy joined us to deliver three interactive assemblies to Y7s, Y8s and Gainsborough primary schools.

The assemblies were about electricity and how it is made/sourced, renewable energy resources, and the careers available in STEM and engineering.

Students were involved in multiple demos such as using a Van de Graaff machine, solving circuits, and testing how small amounts of electricity feel to touch.

A huge thank you to Sophie, Fran and Rob for delivering such fantastic sessions to our students – they really enjoyed them!

Proud to be TGA
