This week, our amazing School Council presented their annual report to West Lindsey District Council. They highlighted their hard work and achievements, and discussed at length their ambition for the school. Students also got to interview a council panel, where members talked about their career paths and how at a young age, you can make big decisions that affect your career.
The students’ presentation discussed what they do at TGA, and how they help students. They talked about the Careers Fair and Proud Podium, and how they have had such a positive effect on the school. Community projects such as the Gainsborough Aspiration Project were also discussed, and how this supports the school locally.
They additionally learnt about the work of the Council and how it can influence a student council to make decisions to help everyone, and make a positive impact and big changes in school. Today represents the beginning of a new and exciting working partnership for TGA, and we are extremely proud of them!
