TGA Interhouse Rounders

Students at The Gainsborough Academy finished the academic year in competitive spirit with an exciting round of Interhouse Rounders matches during the final week of term. Both Year 7 and Year 8 students took to the field, showcasing not only their athletic skills but also excellent teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship – all key values of The Gainsborough Way.

The matches were played with great enthusiasm and energy, with every student giving their all for their House. Whether batting, fielding or cheering on teammates, students demonstrated strong communication and a real sense of pride.

 

Year 7 Results:

  • Neville – 53 points (1st place)
  • Farah – 51.5 points (2nd place)
  • Adam – 45.5 points (3rd place)
  • Beckham – 36.5 points (4th place)

 

Year 8 Results:

  • Adam – 85 points (1st place)
  • Neville – 45.5 points (2nd place)
  • Beckham – 44.5 points (3rd place)
  • Farah – 41.5 points (4th place)

 

Overall Results:

  • Adam – 130.5 points (1st place)
  • Neville – 98.5 points (2nd place)
  • Farah – 93 points (3rd place)
  • Beckham – 81 points (4th place)

 

A huge congratulations to all of the students who took part. Your enthusiasm, effort, and team spirit were a credit to you and The Gainsborough Academy. Well done for ending the year on such a positive note!
