Reading and Crafts in Phase

This term, our PHASE students have been enjoying Harry Potter and completing project work based on the story. Developing reading and literacy is a key part of the curriculum at TGA and across WPT, as we aim to encourage students to become independent, lifelong readers. Literacy opens the door to learning across all subjects, and engaging with a story like Harry Potter helps students develop comprehension and understanding.

As part of their work this week, the students have been making wands to support their exploration of the text – combining creativity with their literacy learning.
